Role Overview
The Corporate Trainee is an entry-level operational role designed to build strong capability in logistics solutions delivery and business execution. The role works closely with multiple functional teams to support end-to-end logistics operations, including customer onboarding, service execution, and commercial activities.
Rather than being a purely learning-based program, this position contributes directly to day-to-day operations and performance outcomes, while developing a broad understanding of how a logistics company operates across customer segments and service lines.
As part of development, the Trainee will be exposed to different functions through structured rotations; however, their primary accountability is to deliver operational support, drive efficiency, and build business insights.
Key Responsibilities
1. Operations Execution
· Support daily logistics operations, including shipment coordination, service tracking, and issue resolution
· Work with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of customer orders and service commitments
· Identify operational gaps and propose practical improvements
2. Customer & Key Account Support
· Assist in managing key clients by coordinating service delivery and maintaining service quality
· Support communication with customers regarding shipment status, service issues, and improvements
· Contribute to maintaining strong client relationships through reliable execution
3. Commercial & Business Support
· Assist with pricing, quotations, and commercial proposals
· Support data analysis to track performance, customer trends, and opportunity areas
· Contribute to sales initiatives by preparing materials and coordinating internal alignment
4. Cross-functional Collaboration
· Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, and Commercial teams
· Support managers/directors in executing projects, reporting, and process improvements
· Gain exposure to decision-making processes and operational strategy

These rotations are developmental in nature and may be adjusted based on business needs and individual performance. The objective is to strengthen practical understanding of logistics operations and prepare the Trainee for a specialized or leadership-track role.
Success Profile
To succeed in this role, you should demonstrate:
· Understand the fundamental operations at a logistics service company. Have 0 to 2 years of working experiences.
