A. Client Operations Management
Oversee day-to-day operations for key clients, ensuring shipments and
documentation are processed with precision and timeliness.
Utilize data management tools and reports to monitor shipment
performance, exceptions, and cost control.
Collaborate closely with Procurement, Pricing, Accounting, and
Transition & Execution teams to ensure seamless service flow.
Maintain client SOPs and ensure full compliance with agreed SLAs and
internal standards.
Analyze trends and performance metrics to proactively identify
operational improvements.
Proactively propose and organize periodic performance reviews with
customers to ensure regular feedback is received and actions are taken
to maximize customer satisfaction.
B. Team Leadership & Performance Excellence
Lead and coach a team with clear targets and accountability.
Drive a culture of ownership, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Monitor team workload distribution and ensure service quality under
pressure.
Guide the team in using data and systems effectively (e.g., ERP, Excels,
Power BI dashboards).
Conduct regular coaching sessions and performance reviews to elevate
capabilities.
C. Client Relationship & Communication
Serve as the primary escalation point for key client operational issues.
Maintain proactive communication with client operations teams and
internal stakeholders.
Provide regular performance reviews and data-driven insights to clients.
Support onboarding and transition of new clients, ensuring a smooth
setup process.
D. Process Improvement & Data Management
Establish a data accuracy culture within the team—ensuring timely,
correct input into systems.
Prepare performance dashboards, cost analyses, and exception reports
for management.
Identify opportunities to automate routine tasks or streamline workflows.
Support implementation of new digital tools or operational systems.
E. Pricing
Utilize existing vendor pools to construct solutions and price competitively
to secure businesses.
Negotiate with suppliers, vendors, and service providers to secure
competitive pricing, favourable terms, and high-quality services.
Work closely with Procurement & Pricing Project team to build a stronger
and more diversed supplier base to optimize business capitalization and
costing.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, International Business, Supply Chain, or
related field.
4–6 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics operations, with
2+ years in a supervisory or senior logistics implementation role.
Strong operational understanding across transport modes (air, ocean,
trucking) and customs processes.
Proven experience in data analysis, reporting, and workflow optimization.
Highly efficient, organized, and data-driven.
Excellent communication, coordination, and client-fronting skills.
Strong leadership and team coaching ability.
Advanced Excels, Power BI or data visualization experience is a strong
advantage.
Fluent English communication.
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to take initiative under minimal
supervision.
